Swing Stage Equipment Rentals Ottawa designed a custom access solution for the masonry trade to safely access the unique façade. The challenge on this project included access below, along the side and above the shark-fin balconies at mid-height of the building. To overcome this challenge, Swing Stage Ottawa designed a custom access solution comprised of two Hydro-Mobile F-200 Series, complete with a P-Series bearing bridge linking both units. The linking bearing bridge was carefully hoisted with a crane, and dropped into position on two occasions, once above the shark-fin balconies and once below. In this unique installation, a swing stage was also suspended directly below the mast-climber to facilitate the installation!
